Blockage of plants

Reported via mobile in the Canal/lake issue category anonymously at 14:37, Thu 10 October 2024

Sent to Thamesmead less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6576002.

Understand your slowly trying to clear some of this, canal in hutchis road by college got done, partially, but this area in Butt's Wood, as you enter by gallions reach health center, is chockablock. Have reported before, over yr ago, this canal runs down into cansl hutchins road , then town center. But due to this blockage, and rubbish been thrown in, water doesn't flow. Just past what you see in this foto, into butts wood, is do bad, you can't tell grass from canal, and soo dangerous for animals (dogs cats) or humans with poor sight, as think walking into a grass area, but it's this lily's, weeds, or pennyworth. Magazine thamesmead says your leaving it, but this area never gets done. Just because it's not in the main public eye, pls can you work this area next. Ty
