Safety lights circuit still out!
Reported via desktop in the Streetlight not working category anonymously at 18:06, Tuesday 10 February 2026
Sent to Thamesmead less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8887786.
The safety lights, in the front part of this alleyway open space linking Lensbury Way and Wolvercote Rioad, plus the MUGA lights and LED clock, plus the bridge lights over Wolvercote Road/Yarnton Way were installed and working between summer 2025 and early December, when Film Fixer permitted a crew to film series 2 of a Netflix show in and around Radley House Wolvercote Road and the MUGA. They had their own light rigging and these lights were switched off but never reconnected. It poses risks to safety at night. This has been reported more than once since and has not been fixed despite case closures. Subsequently, senior local Peabody managers and Safer Neighbourhood Team have been made aware. Please switch the circuit back on ASAP. Thanks
